Welcome to episode #32 of the SubscribeMe show from SubscribeMe.fm.
I’m your host Ravi Jayagopal. This is THE podcast to listen to, to learn about creating membership sites & online courses, making, marketing and monetizing digital content, WordPress, eCommerce, digital marketing, and tools, techniques and tips that you can use to create a long term, profitable online business.
I am the co-founder & co-developer of DigitalAccessPass.com, arguably the best membership plugin in the industry, fondly known as DAP.
In today’s episode, I give you a list of 8 Super-cool, Life-Hacking Gifts that you should buy for yourself – for MY birthday.
We gonna party like, it’s my birthday, sippin’ on Baccardi like it’s my birthday….
Well, I don’t drink rum any more – I’m a bourbon guy. So I will be sippin’ on bourbon like it’s my birthday – because it IS my birthday on May 26th!
And for my birthday, I want YOU to buy one of these really cool gifts for yourself – because I have bought all of them for myself… cuz I’m worth it.
Ready? Let’s go… And please note – these are in no particular order…
Rebel Desk Treadmill Desk
On the standing desk: Samsung 32″ monitor
(Update: The smaller 28″ monitor on the regular desk below, has since been replaced with another Samsung 32″ monitor).
I currently use an ATR 2100 for podcasting.
Blayz Bluetooth Headphones (what I use now – in-ear)
Kinivo Bluetooth Headphones (used it previously – still have it – over the ear, a bit heavier, but if you don’t like in-ear, this is really good)
Best USB headset I’ve found. Incredible sound quality, bass and treble. Rivals that of headsets that are 10x more expensive. Even has a good bit of noise-cancellation because of how snugly it fits your ears, and if you have something playing even at low volume, you won’t be able to hear someone right beside you if they call out to you – so use with caution, especially if you have young kids).
Comfy leather chair from Staples – about $200.
